The local chapter of Children’s Wish is located in Ajax, Ontario. Currently there are over 500 pending wishes to be granted in Ontario and over 50 of those are from the Durham region.

Big Hearts Draw lottery is offering over $10,000 in prizes.  The grand prize is a $5,000 Cruise Voucher provided by Expedia CruiseShipCentres in Brooklin. The draw will take place on December 6th, 2011, 1:00 pm, at Class Act Dinner Theatre in Whitby.

This Big Hearts Draw lottery will go a long way in helping us grant the magic of a wish for some very special children.”

“Events such as Big Hearts Draw not only help to raise funds for our charity but also extends our reach and helps to raise much needed awareness for our 2011/2012 charity of choice, The Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada. Children’s Wish is a vital and crucial organization who works to grant the most heartfelt wishes to children coping with life-threatening illnesses. We are honoured to help grant the magic of a wish,” said HOD member Kira Keast.
